What a celebration!

We have had some fun-filled days in Rimu.
Our trip to the Aotea Lagoon was a time to relax and enjoy time with our friends.

Monday's shared lunch was a chance to experience new tastes, as we shared some of our favourite foods.

A big THANK YOU to those who helped to make our celebrations extra special!!!

Morning of the Eclipse

Why did we wear glasses?
What did we see?
How old will you be when this happens again?

Organising information about Celebrations!

Silent Card Shuffle

We put the cards in order without talking.
<div style="visibility:visible;width:460px;margin:auto;"><embed src="" quality="high" FlashVars="ql=2&src1=" wmode="transparent" bgcolor="#000000" width="460" height="350" name="Liquid" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" style="height:350px;width:460px" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed>
<p style="whitespace:no-wrap;margin-top:10px;height:24px;width:460px"><a href=""><img align="left" src="" border="0" /></a><a href=""><img align="left" style="margin-left:5px" src="" border="0" /></a></p>

Then we talked about what we had done and made some changes.
One of us stayed to explain our choice and the rest moved on to see how another group had organised their cards.

Celebrations Marc Chagall Style!

Marc Chagall (1887 -1985) was one of the first artists to paint the inner world of dreams and memories. He was born in Russia and worked as an artist in both Russia and France. Chagall painted some pictures of celebrations. Our paintings show celebrations we remember. We have tried to make them dream-like. Like Chagall, we have mixed something real with our imagintaions.

What can a net, a face, an edge and a corner have to do with a cube???

Ask one of us! This week we discovered how to 'unwrap' a cube to make a net. A cube is a 3 dimensional shape.

A popping good time!

Rimu one showed great sportsmanship on Monday! With a balloon attached to their ankle they played a game to discover a clue to this term's inquiry.
